How it works
Every field you add to CropBuddy stores its name, crop, area in hectares and a status you set yourself. Fields can be drawn on a satellite map so you can see the shape and location of each parcel. Tasks are linked to fields, so once work is completed the field detail view shows what was done, by whom and which materials were confirmed.
Frequently asked questions
What does CropBuddy cost right now?
The current public beta is free and no payment card is required. Future pricing and plan limits are not final yet, so we don't promise a permanent free tier.
Do I need sensors or hardware?
No. CropBuddy has no hardware requirement. You enter field details yourself and draw boundaries on satellite imagery in the browser.
Which crops can I record?
You type the crop for each field yourself, so you can record whichever arable crops you grow. CropBuddy does not restrict the list.
What does field history show?
It shows tasks that were completed for that field, including who was assigned, the materials confirmed at completion and any completion notes.
